    My ggggrandfather is William Thompson Fondren, son of this Sarah/Sally that married John Fondren in Wilkes. They called him Thompson and he like all the rest end up in Alabama. Then Sarah Fondren is in Jackson Co GA after John dies and gets remarried to one John H. Brown around 1810.William Asberry Fondren was Thompson's brother and his second marriage was to Mary Ann Campbell, formerly Brown. They ended up in Upshur Co TX.

    James Berry, my direct line, went to Bibb Co Alabama.2
