David Daniel

M, b. circa 1765
  • Last Edited: 25 Feb 2002
  • Biography*: This may have been the David Daniel who married Mary Curl, and who died in Nash County, NC, in 1825, leaving a will. Records in Nash County suggest indicate that there were two David Daniels there, one younger, and one "Sr." Records on these two Davids are easily confused.

Robert Daniel

M, b. circa 1775, d. say 1849
  • Last Edited: 26 May 2014
  • (Child) Birth*: circa 1775; North Carolina
  • (Deceased) Death*: say 1849; Washington Parish, Louisiana
  • Research Note*: 26 May 2014; A website, The Langston/Conerly/Massey/Courtney Families of Southern Mississippi, mentions Robert Daniel, father of John Wright Daniel:
    http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=leavon&id=I1549
It seems to me that this Robert could be none other than Robert Daniel, son of William Daniel, son of Simon Daniel, who is at my site here:
    http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~lewgriffin/ and is ID: 2942.
So that would make Robert Daniel the brother of Wright Daniel, and the father of William Wright Daniel. Further research is needed.
