Services were at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at De Leon Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Patterson of Northside Baptist Church officiated. Masonic graveside rites were held at Downing Cemetery.
Born September 27, 1915, in Campbell, he married Belva Lee Boyd on May 6, 1939, in El Paso. He had worked for the Bureau of Reclamation. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a Baptist and a Mason.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jannefier Lee Smith of Panama City, Fla., and Debra Ann Parr of Mineral Wells; a brother, Odwin of Azle; three sisters, Mamie Floyd of Eunice, N.M., Pauline Hodges of
